Students who attend the American Woodworking Academy will enjoy a 4,000 square foot laboratory. There is a variety of equipment from the best names in the woodworking machinery business. The production area is divided up into seven basic areas: planning, lumber and panel storage, rough mill, sanding, gluing, assembly and project storage.
The Academy is committed to excellence in woodworking with friendly and knowledgeable instructors and administrators. Students will benefit from expert instruction and guidance during hands on experience in the laboratory. The foundation of hands on activities gives students the opportunity to develop their manipulative skills and problem solving skills in a logical sequence.
Tours are conducted each weekday or by special appointment.
The Academy is located in Fenton, MO, 20 min. west of St. Louis. Those wishing to fly into the St. Louis area, there are several airports and we would be happy to pick you up.
