The following are specific woodworking technologies presented. Gain Confidence and Learn New Skills! Enjoy twenty-four hours of woodworking. This experience is for the beginner through the amateur. Trainers are noted for their tips and hints allowing you to produce a better project. The class familiarizes you with wood technology, furniture construction techniques, safe machine operation and tool set sharpening.

Class Overview:
Build a Carpenters Toolbox or a Machinists Toolbox

The following are specific woodworking technologies presented.

  • Interpret drawings
  • Acquaint yourself with the workings of a nice usable Toolbox
  • Learn how to create simple drawers
  • Fabricate a toolbox you will be able to use everyday
  • Acquire knowledge and skills
  • Accomplish compound angle layout with ease
Age Restrictions
Class for AGES 12 and UP or Instructor’s Permission
Certifications
A certificate is awarded upon class completion
Prerequisites

NO prerequisites; NO background in woodworking; NO materials required; NO tools needed

Class Time and Information
The class takes twenty-four hours in eight hour blocks of time over a three-day period. Days and times may be altered depending on the circumstances.
